Family Photography at Home
A home family photography session is perfect if you want a personal setting that is unique to your story. It is also where you will feel most relaxed and your children are free to play and explore in a familiar setting. There is always time to pause and follow the needs of your children whether that be a chat, hug or simply a snack break. All I need is a window with natural light and you and your family together.
Family Photography in Nature
The great outdoors is a fantastic choice for an adventurous family photography shoot. Choose a place that you love and let your children run free. There will be time to explore, play and spend time together. To make an extra special memory, I would recommend booking a sunrise or sunset session to capture your family in beautiful golden light.
When is the best time to book a family session?
Now! Don’t wait till everything is perfect because no family is and that is what makes you special and unique.
How long will a family shoot take?
Sessions usually last about 90 minutes and this gives us time to work around you and your needs, allowing for snacks, play and breaks.
What should we wear?
You must feel comfortable and confident in whatever you love to wear, whether that is jeans and a simple t-shirt or your favourite dress. We can chat about this before the session and I am happy to advise.
Who can be in the photographs?
Mum, Dad, children and even the family pet! Please do contact me if you would like to include any other family members.
I don’t like posing for photographs. How will you make me look comfortable?
I won’t ask you to pose or even look at the camera! Photography sessions are all about connecting with your loved ones.
